Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- No related work experience
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures including basic concepts of food safety
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods up to 8 hours or more
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, or pull and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Open availability for any shift
- Adherence to scheduled shift times and attendance standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures including basic food safety concepts
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Capability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- No previous related work experience required
Job Duties
- Washes dishes by hand or places them in a dishwashing machine
- Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks
- Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors
- Removes trash and garbage to designated areas
- Cleans equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards
- Re-stock supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
