The Dishwasher/Utility position at Red Lobster is key to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and food safety that customers expect. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils with diligence and care, ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are spotless and organized. Operators must be skilled in safely handling dishwashing equipment and maintaining waste disposal protocols. In addition to these critical cleaning duties, the Dishwasher/Utility team supports kitchen operations by assisting cooks with food preparation, including making Red Lobster’s signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and other tasks as needed. This role demands physical stamina as employees are required to stand for long hours, lift up to 50 pounds safely, and move efficiently throughout the restaurant. Job Duties
- Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
- Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
- Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
- Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
- Working as one kitchen by supporting the Cooks with prep work, preparation of our signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and other tasks as needed
- Focusing on your team and guests - every decision made should always have the guest and team in mind
- Following all cleanliness and safety protocols
