LA Corral 3, doing business as Golden Corral, is a reputable franchise organization that proudly operates under the well-known Golden Corral brand. Golden Corral is a popular American restaurant chain known for its buffet offerings and family-friendly dining atmosphere. The organization's franchise model allows independent operators like LA Corral 3 to bring the Golden Corral experience to local communities, focusing on delivering excellent food quality and outstanding guest service. Currently, LA Corral 3 is seeking to add to its team by hiring a Utility Person / Dishwasher. This role is integral to the restaurant's daily operations, directly impacting the quality of the guest experience. Cleanliness is consistently ranked by guests as the most critical factor in determining whether they will return to a restaurant. Because of this, the Utility Person / Dishwasher must excel in maintaining impeccable cleanliness both inside and outside the establishment. This includes ensuring that all dishes and silverware are spotless and ready for use, keeping the restaurant environment pleasant and safe for guests and co-workers alike, and adhering strictly to local health department regulations.
Beyond dishwashing, this position requires the Utility Person / Dishwasher to manage multiple cleaning responsibilities in and around the restaurant. Tasks include cleaning the interior dining and kitchen areas, maintaining the exterior premises such as the parking lot and building surrounds, restocking and cleaning restrooms, and managing waste disposal by keeping trash cans and the dumpster area orderly and hygienic. The Utility Person / Dishwasher also performs regular checks according to a duty roster to maintain cleanliness and quality standards consistently. Effective communication with management is another key part of the role, ensuring any equipment or facility issues are reported promptly for quick resolution.
Operational excellence is another vital component of this role. The Utility Person / Dishwasher supports the kitchen and serving staff by stocking dishes, glasses, and silverware in cook lines and server stations in a timely manner. The position also demands excellent organization, speed, and cleanliness to contribute to the smooth flow of restaurant operations. Ultimately, the Utility Person / Dishwasher plays a foundational role in delivering top-notch guest service by ensuring that all elements of cleanliness and operational readiness are met in real time.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a similar role preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Provides clean, sparkling silverware and dishes to the guest
- cleans the inside of the restaurant to provide a pleasant, safe environment for guests and co-workers
- cleans around the outside of the building and the parking lot
- checks, cleans, and stocks the rest rooms
- empties trash into the dumpster and keeps the dumpster, trash cans and back dock area clean
- thoroughly cleans and organizes the utility area
- performs duty roster and ensures cleanliness, services, and quality standards are met
- follows local health department laws
- stocks cook, line, and server areas with appropriate glasses, silverware, and dishes
- maintains excellent organization, speed, and cleanliness
- brings equipment and facility problems to the attention of the manager
- knows and follows position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery
