We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Dishwashers to join our team. This role is integral in supporting our mission by ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards that meet and exceed food safety regulations. Dishwashers play a crucial part in maintaining the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining areas by efficiently managing dishwashing tasks and helping uphold a clean and organized environment. Bob Evans believes in providing a work-life balance, flexible scheduling, early closing times, and excellent benefits to its team members. The hourly wage for this position can go up to $15.00, dependent upon experience and local market demand. Job Requirements

  • 0-2 years related experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods during entire shift
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach, finger, handle, and feel objects and tools
  • Ability to bend and stoop
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively
  • Ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock area, and register area

Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Experience in commercial dishwashing preferred but not required
  • Ability to maintain high pace and intensity over extended periods
  • Strong menu knowledge
  • Good judgment and planning skills
  • Ability to read, organize, and coordinate tickets accurately

Job Duties

  • Maintain dish tank area and ensure availability of cleaned dishes
  • Follow food safety guidelines for washing, drying, and storing dishware and utensils
  • Remove cardboard and grease, maintain cleanliness of parking lot
  • Maintain cleanliness of property around the restaurant including foyer, front porch, and sidewalks
  • Empty trash from designated areas throughout shift
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure guest satisfaction regarding dining room cleanliness
  • Assist in other job categories as assigned
