Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dishwashing or similar role within the food service industry
  • Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals
  • Basic knowledge of food service operations and safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing machines and manual methods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and floors
  • Sort and stack clean dishes and kitchen equipment in designated storage areas
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning tasks and waste disposal as needed
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly
  • Adhere to assigned work schedules and maintain regular and reliable attendance
