Job Requirements
- 1+ year BOH experience in full-service restaurant preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral as well as ability to adjust focus
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- For all California based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required (can be completed during training and up to 60 days after start date)

Job Duties
- Ensures smooth and steady kitchen operations by keeping dishwashing areas organized
- Manages tasks efficiently to maintain kitchen workflow
- Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Restocks kitchen and cooking line as needed throughout the shift
- Performs routine cleaning of the kitchen and assists with general cleaning tasks
- Understands dish machine operations including chemical components and follows procedures for changing water and chemicals
- Keeps floors clean and dry
- Ensures plates and smallware are properly washed, sanitized, and stored
- Maintains and inspects food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to
- Corrects unsafe practices or conditions and notifies management
- Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as needed
