The Radisson Salt Lake City is currently seeking an energetic individual to join their Food & Beverage team as a Dishwasher/Steward. This position is integral to ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of all food and beverage outlets, kitchens, dinnerware, and related equipment, providing essential support to the operational success of the hotel’s food service areas. As a Steward, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a spotless, sanitary environment across all food preparation and service zones. They will manage the setup and takedown of select kitchen and outlet areas, control inventories, and operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment effectively.
The role demands high attention to detail, strong team spirit, and flexibility, including working various shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate should have experience working in an upscale hotel environment and demonstrate professionalism and discretion at all times. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and excellent communication skills to interact with department managers, team members, and guests.
The Steward at Radisson Salt Lake City plays a vital role in maintaining the quality and smooth operation of the food and beverage service areas, contributing directly to creating a hospitable atmosphere for guests. Job Duties
- Clean and maintain food and beverage storage, preparation, and cooking areas and equipment
- Maintain proper sanitation of all dishwashing and pot washing areas and equipment
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment properly to provide clean, sanitized china, glass and silver
- Remove all trash from kitchen areas, operate garbage disposal and trash compactor
- Maintain control over food and beverage china, glass, silver, cookware and service equipment inventories
- Perform breakdown of all food service materials and equipment after banquet functions
