ASM Global is currently seeking a part-time Dishwasher to join its team at the Shreveport Convention Center/Municipal Auditorium. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the kitchen and dishwashing areas. The Dishwasher will work directly under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, playing a key part in supporting food preparation and service teams by ensuring dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is part-time and scheduled on an on-call basis, accommodating the facility's varying event demands. The role offers a dynamic work environment where adaptability and a strong work ethic are valued.

Job Requirements
- Possess a High School diploma or GED with (1) year of related experience
- At least two (2) years of experience in a food & beverage environment
- Ability to understand and follow direction
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to complete required pre-employment food service training, if applicable
- Ability to work in a team
- Positive attitude and neat appearance
- English preferred as primary language, but not required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a background check and meet corporate minimum requirements
- Teamwork oriented cooperative attitude is a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Must be able easily adjust to changing priorities
- Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts
- Must be compliant with health codes

- Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties
- Must have positive attitude
- Reports to work in proper uniform according to the scheduled time
- Follows instructions for each event as given by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
- Prepare and package individual place settings
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Sweep and scrub floors
- Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving
- Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food and supplies
- Receive and store supplies
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks
- Clean garbage cans with water or steam
- Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary
