Job Description
LongHorn Steakhouse is a renowned American casual dining restaurant chain specializing in boldly flavored steaks and an inviting atmosphere that celebrates warmth and hospitality. With a commitment to delivering legendary food and service, LongHorn Steakhouse emphasizes a strong, diverse culture and offers extensive benefits and growth opportunities for its employees. As a part of the Darden family, which operates some of the most popular full-service restaurants in the country, LongHorn Steakhouse holds itself to high standards in both food quality and customer experience, drawing in guests who value quality meals paired with exceptional service.
The role of Dishwasher at LongHorn Steakhouse is vital to maintaining these standards, playing an integral part in the kitchen and overall restaurant operations. This position ensures cleanliness and organization behind the scenes, which directly impacts the quality and safety of the food served to customers. Dishwashers at LongHorn work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where attention to detail, reliability, and pride in their work contribute to a seamless dining experience.
Dishwashers are responsible for washing dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans thoroughly to guarantee everything is spotless and ready for use. They also assist in keeping the restaurant clean, supporting the culinary and service teams by stocking supplies and maintaining the overall sanitation of the establishment. This role requires a hands-on approach, physical stamina, and the ability to follow safe food handling and cleanliness protocols.
LongHorn Steakhouse values its Dishwasher team members not only through competitive hourly pay, which ranges from $15.16 to $18.25, but also through numerous benefits designed to enhance work-life balance and foster growth. Employees enjoy flexible scheduling options facilitated by a team member app that allows shift swapping, making it easier to manage work and personal commitments. Weekly pay ensures financial consistency, and shift meals provide side options, salads, soups, and more to support employee wellbeing during long shifts.
Additional perks include anniversary pay recognizing employee loyalty, closure on major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas to allow employees to spend time with their families, and discounts available both within the restaurant and through external partners like cellphone providers and hotels. LongHorn Steakhouse prides itself on creating a positive and supportive work environment where employees feel valued and motivated to contribute to the team’s success.
This Dishwasher role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who appreciate a collaborative team environment, are eager to contribute to a well-established company, and want to grow their career in the hospitality industry. With its legendary culture and commitment to employee development, LongHorn Steakhouse stands out as an employer of choice for those passionate about food service and customer satisfaction. Joining Team LongHorn means being part of a community that prides itself on quality, respect, and opportunity.
