Job Requirements
- the ability to wash and clean all tableware, pots, pans, cooking equipment, and bus tubs
- capability to wash all equipment, mats, and walls in the dish work area and office
- organizational skills to keep equipment and work area clean
- the ability to handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- a commitment to ensuring that the outside of the diner is clean and free of debris
- the observational skills to monitor dish machine water temperature and adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
- willingness to bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster
Job Qualifications
- experience as a dish washer in a fast-paced work environment
- working knowledge of loading, running, and unloading dish machines
- ability to organize and maintain cleanliness
- good observational skills
- basic physical stamina for repetitive tasks
- willingness to assist in stocking deliveries
