Red Lobster is currently hiring for the position of Dishwasher/Utility, a vital role within the restaurant’s operational team. This entry-level position plays a key part in ensuring a clean and safe environment for both the kitchen and dining areas, contributing significantly to the overall guest experience. Dishwashers at Red Lobster are responsible for cleaning and maintaining restaurant areas, sanitizing dishware and kitchen utensils, and supporting the kitchen staff with various prep tasks, including the preparation of the restaurant’s signature Cheddar Bay biscuits.
This role requires the ability to safely operate dishwashing equipment, manage trash disposal, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards in accordance with company protocols. As a Dishwasher/Utility team member, you will work closely with cooks and other kitchen staff, demonstrating strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a guest-focused attitude. Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended shifts (8 to 12 hours) are essential.

Job Duties
- Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
- cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
- safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
- emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
- supporting the cooks with prep work, preparation of signature Cheddar Bay biscuits and other tasks
- focusing on team and guests in decision making
- following all cleanliness and safety protocols
