The Dishwasher/Utility role is a vital part of the restaurant team, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency within the kitchen and dining areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, as well as operating dishwashing equipment safely and correctly. This position also supports kitchen operations by assisting with prep work and helping prepare Red Lobster's signature Cheddar Bay biscuits. Maintaining a clean and safe environment by emptying trash and adhering to all hygiene and safety protocols is essential. The Dishwasher/Utility must work collaboratively with the kitchen team and prioritize the guest experience in every action taken.
This role demands physical stamina, including the ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds safely, and remain on feet for shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours. Culinary experience is preferred but not mandatory, while being a team player with the ability to multitask and pay attention to detail is critical for success.
