Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- possess a current Food Handler's Card if applicable
- excellent customer service skills and etiquette
- ability to communicate effectively with team members
- knowledge and ability to use cleaning chemicals safely
- ability to work in warm to very warm kitchen temperatures
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced, teamwork environment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is a plus but not required
- excellent customer service skills
- effective communication abilities
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, team environments
Job Duties
- Operate industrial dishwasher
- wash dishes, sweep and mop floors, clean and maintain equipment
- sanitize utensils and maintain all areas of the restaurant
- maintain kitchen work areas in clean and orderly conditions
- clean food preparation areas, facilities or equipment
- execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
- place clean dishes, utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas
- empty and clean all trash receptacles
- provide assistance to line cook and other kitchen staff as needed, including basic prep during peak times
- load or unload trucks delivering or picking up food or supplies
- perform opening, closing, and side work
- clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
