Job Requirements
- One or more years of back of house experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 30 lbs
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils, and technology systems
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
- Responsible Beverage Service certifications required for California positions (can be completed during training)

Job Duties
- Ensures smooth and steady kitchen operations by keeping dishwashing areas organized
- Manages tasks efficiently to maintain kitchen workflow
- Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Restocks kitchen and cooking line as needed throughout the shift
- Performs routine cleaning of the kitchen and assists with general cleaning tasks as needed
- Operates dish machine including chemical components and changes water and chemicals properly
- Keeps floors clean and dry
- Ensures plates and smallwares are properly washed, sanitized, and stored
- Maintains and inspects food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure health and safety regulations are always met
- Corrects unsafe practices or conditions and notifies management
- Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all restaurant areas as needed
