  • possess excellent customer service skills and etiquette
  • hold a current Food Handler's Card where applicable
  • able to communicate effectively with team members
  • learn and correctly use building chemicals
  • able to work around varying kitchen temperatures

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Operate an industrial dishwasher
  • wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment
  • sanitize utensils and maintain all restaurant areas
  • maintain kitchen work areas and equipment in clean, orderly conditions
  • clean food preparation areas, facilities or equipment
  • execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
  • place clean dishes, utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas
  • empty and clean all trash receptacles
  • assist prep cook and other kitchen staff during peak times including basic prep
  • load or unload food and supply trucks
  • perform opening, closing and side work
  • clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
