Job Requirements

  • Ability to transport cases up to 50 pounds as many as 20 times per day
  • Physical stamina and ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
  • Adequate vision to discern cleanliness and operate equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high volume kitchen environment
  • Ability to prioritize safety and sanitation protocols at all times

Job Qualifications

  • A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow
  • Able to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves
  • Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to follow recipes exactly as written
  • Ability to work fast, safe, efficient, and accurately for periods of up to 10 hours per day
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Able to work efficiently and communicate effectively in a high stress, fast paced environment
  • Willingness to help with maintenance responsibilities, prep cook responsibilities, and assist other stations on the line as needed
  • Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment
  • Mobility required during the entire shift
  • Ability to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others

Job Duties

  • Scrap, scrub, spray, wash, sanitize all pots, pans, dishes glasses, utensils, etc. to ensure the restaurant operates smoothly at all times
  • Complete all assigned prep work, following recipes exactly as written
  • Set up workstation
  • Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times
  • Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift
  • Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects
  • Aid with putting away deliveries
