The company prides itself on treating employees with respect and fairness, encouraging individuality and creativity within its workforce. Sodexo's partnership with clients is centered around delivering memorable and high-quality service experiences that enhance the lives of customers and employees alike.

The role of Dishwasher at the Oklahoma Children’s Hospital at OU Health, offered by Sodexo, is a vital part of maintaining the cleanliness and smooth operation within the kitchen and food service areas. This part-time position involves working afternoon and evening shifts with varying days, providing flexibility suited to personal schedules. The pay range for this position is between $15.25 and $16.17 per hour, reflecting Sodexo's commitment to offering competitive wages for essential roles.

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for supporting kitchen operations by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This includes manual washing as well as operating dishwashing machines. You will maintain sanitation standards throughout the kitchen, cleaning worktables, floors, walls, refrigerators, and storage areas. The role requires physical stamina, as you will be standing or walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting heavy items up to 50 pounds. This hands-on position requires a dedication to hygiene, safety, and efficiency within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Beyond basic cleaning duties, the Dishwasher will also assist in restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials, as well as transporting waste to designated disposal areas. Attention to detail and adherence to sanitation protocols are crucial to ensuring a safe and clean environment for food production and service. Additional duties may be assigned according to specific client and business needs, reflecting the dynamic nature of Sodexo’s service delivery model.

Sodexo supports its employees with a flexible and supportive work environment, ongoing training and development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package that promotes both personal and professional growth. Employees gain access to paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and 401(k) plans, among others. Some locations offer site-specific benefits such as free meals, uniforms, safety shoes, and transportation support. Sodexo encourages open communication during the hiring process to address any questions concerning benefits and job responsibilities.

Overall, joining Sodexo as a Dishwasher means becoming part of a company that values purpose-driven work and personal growth, while contributing to the health and safety of a vital community service such as the Oklahoma Children’s Hospital.
