Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Restaurant experience is preferred but not required
- ability to be on your feet for long hours and move 20-40 lbs of kitchen supplies
- strong willingness to contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
- ability to collaborate effectively with others and communicate with supervisors to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
- must be comfortable using slip-resistant shoes and practicing proper lifting techniques to ensure safety
Job Duties
- Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes, pots, pans, and trays by hand or using the dishwashing machine, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces to maintain a sanitary environment
- remove trash and waste, placing it in designated containers
- clean and steam garbage cans to maintain a hygienic kitchen space
- follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times, ensuring that kitchen areas and equipment comply with cleanliness standards
- sweep and mop kitchen floors, ensuring that they are kept clean and safe for all kitchen staff
- maintain the dishwashing area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly, and report any issues to the supervisor
- assist with the transfer of supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, helping with the unloading and loading of supplies
- work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, always adhering to company sanitation and safety standards
- assist with any other tasks as assigned to ensure the overall cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen
