Within this vibrant and dynamic company, the Dishwasher position at the MUSIC CENTER (PACLAC) serves as a vital support role in food service operations. This position is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, with an hourly pay range between $18 and $24, offering flexible shifts and workdays. Dishwashers are essential in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards by effectively cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment used during food preparation and service. The role heavily contributes to the smooth daily operations and special events by ensuring a steady flow of clean serviceware and supporting kitchen and service teams.

Dishwashers primarily operate within dish rooms and kitchen support areas, focusing on warewashing, sanitation, and upkeep of assigned workstations. The position may involve using dishwashing machines and manual washing stations, adhering strictly to sanitation protocols, and organizing clean items for immediate reuse. This role requires frequent physical activity including lifting and moving items up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic are necessary, as is the ability to collaborate with others in a fast-paced environment. The duties assigned may vary depending on the size of the unit, service volume, and specific operational needs of the location.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Prior dishwashing or food service experience preferred
  • Ability to work varying shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Operate dishwashing machines and manual washing stations in accordance with sanitation standards
  • Ensure clean items are properly stored and organized for reuse
  • Assist with removal of trash, food waste, and recyclables from dish room areas
  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on client requirements and business needs
