Job Duties

  • Follow sanitation standards and procedures complying with legal regulations
  • Clean and sanitize food and beverage equipment as well as care for foodstuff-relevant areas including walls and floors
  • Respond quickly to unforeseen incidents such as spilled dishes by immediate cleaning
  • Maintain and troubleshoot kitchen equipment to ensure smooth operation including performing preventative maintenance
  • Keep cooking and serving utensils, plates, and tools clean and sanitary at all times
  • Maintain appropriate levels of needed dishes and utensils to support kitchen operations
  • Participate in environmental sustainability initiatives including recycling, waste reduction, and energy and water conservation
