The role of Dishwasher/Utility at Red Lobster is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and efficiency that guests and team members expect. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant, ensuring that all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils are sanitized according to health and safety standards. The position requires safely operating dishwashing equipment and other associated tools. Additional duties include emptying all trash in the kitchen and other designated areas, supporting the kitchen team with prep work such as preparing the signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and collaborating with cooks and other staff to provide exceptional service. Every action taken should reflect a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction, emphasizing cleanliness, safety, and efficiency throughout every shift.
Successful candidates for this position are expected to meet physical job demands including the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds safely, as well as the stamina to remain standing for shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours. While culinary experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, but a strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and the ability to multitask are crucial.
