The Dishwasher/Utility role at Red Lobster is a vital part of the restaurant’s operation, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen and dining areas. This position involves cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, as well as maintaining all areas of the restaurant. The Dishwasher/Utility supports the kitchen team by assisting with prep work, including preparing Red Lobster’s signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and performing other tasks as needed. The role requires the safe and correct operation of dishwashing equipment and adherence to cleanliness and safety protocols. Employees in this position must be team players, attentive to detail, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Physical demands include the ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, and remain standing for extended shifts typically lasting 8 to 12 hours. Job Duties

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
  • Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
  • Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
  • Working as one kitchen, by supporting the Cooks with prep work, preparation of our signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and other tasks as needed
  • Focusing on your team and guests - every decision made should always have the guest and team in mind
  • Following all cleanliness and safety protocols
