The Dishwasher/Utility position at Red Lobster plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the restaurant. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils while safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment. In addition, the Dishwasher/Utility helps support kitchen operations by assisting Cooks with prep work, including the preparation of the restaurant's signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and other related tasks. This position requires a strong focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction, with every decision made to enhance the experience for both guests and team members. The role demands adherence to strict cleanliness and safety protocols to ensure the restaurant environment is safe and welcoming. Physically, the job requires the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds safely, as well as stand and move about the restaurant for lengthy shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours. Culinary experience is preferred but not mandatory.
