The Dishwasher/Utility role at Red Lobster is an essential position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant. This position plays a key role in ensuring that dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized efficiently to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction. The Dishwasher/Utility also supports kitchen operations by assisting cooks with prep work and more, acting as an integral part of the teamwork that sustains smooth and effective kitchen function.

This role requires adherence to all cleanliness and safety protocols to maintain safe working conditions. The Dishwasher/Utility must operate dishwashing equipment safely and contribute to maintaining the overall orderliness of the restaurant, including emptying trash bins in kitchen and other areas. Given the physical nature of the job, candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds safely, stand for extended shifts lasting anywhere from eight to twelve hours, and perform various physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and stooping.

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
  • cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils

  • working as one kitchen by supporting the cooks with prep work, preparation of Cheddar Bay biscuits, and other tasks as needed
