The Dishwasher/Utility position at Red Lobster is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant, ensuring the smooth operation of kitchen activities and supporting the culinary team. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, as well as properly operating dishwashing equipment. The Dishwasher/Utility also handles cleaning tasks in all restaurant areas, emptying trash, and assisting cooks with prep work and preparation of signature menu items, including the famous Cheddar Bay biscuits. This position requires strong teamwork skills and a keen focus on ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Employees must adhere to strict cleanliness and safety protocols and maintain a positive attitude, always keeping the team and guests in mind with every action. The physical demands of the job include the ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, and remain standing for long shifts of 8 to 12 hours. Prior culinary experience is preferred but not required. Job Duties

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
  • Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
  • Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
  • Working as one kitchen by supporting the cooks with prep work, preparation of our signature cheddar bay biscuits and other tasks as needed
  • Focusing on your team and guests - every decision made should always have the guest and team in mind
  • Following all cleanliness and safety protocols
