The Dishwasher/Utility is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant, including washing and sanitizing dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. Proper operation of dishwashing equipment and other cleaning machinery is essential. Beyond cleaning responsibilities, this role includes supporting kitchen staff with prep work such as preparing Red Lobster's signature Cheddar Bay biscuits and other tasks necessary to maintain kitchen efficiency and team synergy. The position requires a strong team orientation, with every decision focused on enhancing the experience for both guests and fellow team members. Furthermore, strict adherence to cleanliness and safety protocols is mandatory to uphold the high standards that Red Lobster is known for. Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • Culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Job Qualifications

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the country
  • Culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • Ability to remain standing and move about the restaurant for 8 to 12 hour shifts

Job Duties

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
  • Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
  • Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
  • Supporting the cooks with prep work including the preparation of Cheddar Bay biscuits
  • Focusing on the team and guests by making decisions with them in mind
  • Following all cleanliness and safety protocols
