You will be responsible for maintaining and sanitizing kitchen work areas, utensils, and equipment, ensuring that all items meet the health and safety standards required for daily food service operations. The role includes tasks such as washing dishes and pots by hand or in a commercial machine, polishing silverware, sweeping and mopping floors, and managing waste by removing garbage to designated areas. Additional duties involve cleaning worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as well as transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas to support kitchen workflow.

Beyond the daily responsibilities, Sodexo offers an environment that promotes personal growth through ongoing training and advancement opportunities, turning a job into a meaningful career. Employees benefit from a flexible, supportive work culture designed to accommodate life’s important moments, reflecting Sodexo’s commitment to work-life balance. Comprehensive benefits are available, including paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, 401k savings plans, and employee discount programs. Some locations may provide additional perks such as free shift meals, uniforms, safety shoes, and support for public transportation or parking.

At Sodexo, inclusivity and respect are foundational. The company strives to create workplaces where all employees feel valued and empowered regardless of their background or characteristics protected by law.
