Job Requirements
- Must be age 16 or older
- Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
Job Qualifications
- Promote teamwork in providing services to residents
- Follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations
- Operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn
- Willingness to learn and help others
- Enjoyment in working with older adults
- Some experience in food cleanup or preparation is preferred
Job Duties
- Stack, soak, and run the dish machine
- Soak and clean pots and pans, putting away in storage after dry
- Clean equipment, appliances, storage area, and sinks according to schedule
- Participate in serving food and beverages, as needed
- Prepare beverages before meals
- Provide customer service to residents to allow a high level of resident satisfaction
- Bus tables during and after meals and clear tables when residents are finished eating
- Vacuum carpet in the dining room after each meal
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environment
- Store food properly for infection control
- Other duties as assigned
