Job Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- strong passion for food and people
- team player with a good attitude and sense of urgency
- ability to read and follow written recipes, standards, and safety instructions
- reliable transportation to and from work
- ability to work in both hot and cool environments
- able to lift at least 20 pounds and frequently squat and bend
- self-accountable with high standards
- able to stand for up to 8 hours in a fast-paced setting
- willingness to learn and develop
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification or willing to obtain
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in a culinary or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to follow written recipes, standards, and safety instructions
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- strong sense of urgency and good attitude
Job Duties
- ensure cleanliness and quality of dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen items
- operate dish machine at correct temperatures
- use proper detergents and sanitizers according to standards
- adhere to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for chemical use
- maintain clean and organized kitchen walkways
- assist with kitchen prep work and food order organization
- rotate produce as needed
