Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • strong passion for food and people
  • team player with a good attitude and sense of urgency
  • ability to read and follow written recipes, standards, and safety instructions
  • reliable transportation to and from work
  • ability to work in both hot and cool environments
  • able to lift at least 20 pounds and frequently squat and bend
  • self-accountable with high standards
  • able to stand for up to 8 hours in a fast-paced setting
  • willingness to learn and develop
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification or willing to obtain

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in a culinary or kitchen environment preferred but not required
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to follow written recipes, standards, and safety instructions
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • strong sense of urgency and good attitude

Job Duties

  • ensure cleanliness and quality of dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen items
  • operate dish machine at correct temperatures
  • use proper detergents and sanitizers according to standards
  • adhere to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for chemical use
  • maintain clean and organized kitchen walkways
  • assist with kitchen prep work and food order organization
  • rotate produce as needed
