We are seeking a diligent and proactive Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout all prep equipment, silverware, glassware, and dishware, adhering strictly to health and sanitation guidelines. The dishwasher plays an essential supporting function in the kitchen, directly impacting the efficiency of meal preparation and the overall customer experience. Your role will include organizing and managing the dish pit area, ensuring it remains tidy and well-stocked, as well as assisting kitchen staff in keeping the food prep and line areas clean and orderly. Given that the pace of service is critical in turning tables quickly, we expect candidates to have a strong work ethic and the ability to work swiftly and effectively under pressure. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical capability to lift heavy items
  • basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards
  • reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience in a dishwasher or similar role preferred
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • good teamwork and communication skills
  • basic knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • clean all prep equipment according to sanitation requirements
  • clean silverware, glassware and dishes thoroughly
  • maintain a clean and organized dish pit
  • assist kitchen staff in keeping the line and prep areas clean and organized
  • work efficiently and maintain a fast pace to support quick table turnover
  • follow all health and sanitation guidelines
  • properly sort and store clean dishes and utensils
