Job Description
Snooze is a vibrant and full-service breakfast restaurant committed to creating a unique dining experience where every morning feels like a joyful celebration, whether before or after noon. Known for its friendly atmosphere and inventive dishes, Snooze is a place where authenticity and individuality are celebrated both in its menu and its team. As a breakfast-focused establishment, Snooze offers an inviting environment where customers come for a delightful meal and a welcoming community feel. The company prides itself on being inclusive, valuing the diverse personalities of its employees and guests alike. With competitive pay ranging from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, this role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and enjoy contributing to a lively breakfast culture.
The Dishwasher position at Snooze is integral to the seamless operation of the kitchen and the overall dining experience. As the Master of the Suds, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of all dishware, glassware, and kitchen utensils, ensuring that the restaurant can consistently deliver "perfect plates" to guests. This role demands dedication, attention to detail, and a willingness to dive into physical tasks that keep the kitchen running efficiently. You will be expected to operate commercial dishwashers or manually wash utensils with a three-compartment sink, maintain storage areas, assist with supply stocking, and uphold the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
Snooze emphasizes work-life balance by guaranteeing no late-night shifts, allowing you to be home by dinner every evening. The company supports its employees with weekly pay, competitive hourly rates, and generous perks like a $15 shift allowance for breakfast and café drinks. Full-time team members who work 30 or more hours per week and have been with the company for at least one year enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with flexible spending accounts. Additionally, Snooze provides accident and pet insurance, telehealth programs, traditional and Roth 401(k) plans, paid community volunteer days, birthday meals, and closed holidays on Thanksgiving and Christmas to promote family time.
Safety and responsibility are paramount at Snooze, with strict adherence to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety guidelines to protect both team members and guests. Dishwashers at Snooze are more than just maintenance staff; they are valued team members who contribute to a positive, fun, and productive environment where dance parties are unlimited and advancement opportunities abound. A successful dishwasher at Snooze is a committed, positive communicator capable of handling physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods. If you are 18 years or older, authorized to work in the U.S., and hold the necessary food and alcohol service certifications, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
