Job Requirements
- ability to wash and clean all tableware, pots, pans, cooking equipment, and bus tubs
- capability to wash all equipment, mats, and walls in the dish work area and office
- organizational skills to keep equipment and work area clean
- ability to handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- commitment to ensuring the outside of the diner is clean and free of debris
- observational skills to monitor dish machine water temperature and adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
- willingness to bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster
Job Qualifications
- experience as a dish washer in a fast-paced work environment
- working knowledge of dish machine operation including loading, running, and unloading
- ability to wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
- strong organizational skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness in dish washing area and diner exterior
- good observational skills to monitor equipment
- experience assisting in stocking deliveries
