The Dishwasher role at StoryPoint of Middletown is a part-time position with working hours from 6 am to 2 pm. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment within the kitchen and dining areas. The dishwasher will be responsible for washing and unloading dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations. This role not only contributes to the smooth operation of the culinary team but also supports the overall mission of providing excellent services to residents and guests. It requires individuals who demonstrate a positive attitude, are team players, and have the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and other staff. While prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, as the company values attitude and willingness to learn.

The dishwasher must follow strict procedures for cleaning and storing items, comply with state and local health codes, and keep the kitchen stocked with necessary supplies such as soap, towels, and paper products. Additionally, they will perform daily cleaning duties, which may include scrubbing and mopping floors and sanitizing equipment and work areas. The role demands standing for long periods and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
