The role of Dishwasher at Brookdale is a critical support position within our food services team. This position involves operating dishwashing machines to clean dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware, and other food service equipment, ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness. Dishwashers at Brookdale play an essential role in maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment by not only cleaning dishes but also keeping food preparation and service areas clean and organized. Responsibilities include emptying garbage, sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, and assisting with food preparation as needed. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to upholding health and safety standards.
Brookdale offers flexible employment options with both part-time and full-time positions available, complemented by a competitive base pay determined by the applicant’s skills and experience. In addition, the Dishwasher role is eligible for team-based bonus opportunities, enhancing earning potential. Temporary associates, while not eligible for the full suite of benefits, may participate in the company's 401(k) program. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Willingness to adhere to cleanliness and safety standards
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Prior experience in dishwashing or kitchen cleaning preferred
Job Qualifications
