The role available is a part-time weekend position working Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy serving others and want to be part of a supportive team environment. The primary responsibilities include dishroom duties such as operating the dish machine, cleaning pots and pans, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting food service tasks like serving food and beverages. The role requires ensuring high resident satisfaction through excellent customer service and maintaining infection control standards when storing food. Employees in this role will engage with residents, promote teamwork, and uphold safety and cleanliness within the kitchen and dining areas.

Job Requirements
- must be age 16 or older
- ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
- promote teamwork in providing services to residents
- follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations
- operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn
- working 3-3.75 hours per shift standing, walking, and moving about without the need to sit down
Job Qualifications

- some experience in food cleanup or preparation is preferred
Job Duties
- stack, soak, and run the dish machine
- soak and clean pots and pans, putting away in storage after dry
- clean equipment, appliances, storage area, and sinks according to schedule
- participate in serving food and beverages, as needed
- prepare beverages before meals
- provide customer service to residents to allow a high level of resident satisfaction
- bus tables during and after meals and clear tables when residents are finished eating
- vacuum carpet in the dining room after each meal
- maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environment
- store food properly for infection control
- other duties as assigned
