The role of the Utility Person / Dishwasher within this franchise is pivotal in maintaining the overall dining experience that guests cherish. This position is designed for energetic and friendly individuals who understand the importance of cleanliness and operational efficiency in a busy restaurant setting. As a Utility Person / Dishwasher, you will be integral in ensuring that all dishes, silverware, and kitchen utensils are immaculately clean, contributing directly to food safety and guest satisfaction. Additionally, you will take on general cleaning and maintenance duties both inside and outside the restaurant, including restocking supplies, trash disposal, and upkeep of restrooms and utility areas.

Positioned as a foundational team member, you will play a significant role in creating a safe, pleasant, and hygienic environment for both guests and co-workers. Your responsibilities extend beyond dishwashing to encompass organization of kitchen and serving areas, monitoring sanitary conditions, and collaborating with management to communicate any equipment or facility issues. Job Duties

  • provides clean, sparkling silverware and dishes to the guest
  • cleans the inside of the restaurant to provide a pleasant, safe environment for guests and co-workers
  • cleans around the outside of the building and the parking lot
  • checks, cleans, and stocks the rest rooms
  • empties trash into the dumpster and keeps the dumpster, trash cans and back dock area clean
  • thoroughly cleans and organizes the utility area
  • performs duty roster and ensures cleanliness, services, and quality standards are met
  • follows local health department laws
  • stocks cook, line, and server areas with appropriate glasses, silverware, and dishes
  • maintains excellent organization, speed, and cleanliness
  • brings equipment and facility problems to the attention of the manager
  • knows and follows position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery
