Job Requirements

Ability to maintain sanitary standards during dishwashing processes
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly
Reliable and punctual work attendance
Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks including lifting and bending
Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen sanitation role is beneficial
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and strong commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
Ability to follow safety and health regulations
Basic communication skills to understand and carry out instructions
Ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties

Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation
Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
