Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education training and experience
- Minimum six months utility or dish washing experience preferred but not required
Job Qualifications
- Ability to speak read and comprehend the English language
- Knowledge of menu presentation food preparation production food delivery systems and utility
- Familiarity with local Health Department OSHA and regulatory agencies relevant to culinary services
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations
- Strong inter-department communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of preparation and line production communication
- Willingness to be available for community emergencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
Job Duties
- Exemplify community standards of cleanliness sanitation and operational organization at all times
- Adhere to food quality appearance and presentation standards
- Perform kitchen activities including ware-washing system set-up and break down dish washing pot washing general cleaning duties storing of food and non-food supplies and prep production
- Assist serving staff with setting of tables and work station areas as well as clearing tables
- Clean and sanitize production equipment work surfaces ware-washing system and areas in kitchen
- Apply knowledge of diets provided and serve correctly per policy and procedure
- Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner
- Support creating a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy
