Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dish washing machine, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing station and trash compactor
- wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
- receive deliveries, properly store perishables, and rotate stock
- use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes
- inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items and manage soiled items for re-scrubbing
- rack and spray all racked items with hot water to remove food residue
- sort, soak, wash and re-wash silverware
- break down dirty bus tubs
- empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area
- clean and mop all assigned areas
- dispose of glass properly
- break down cardboard boxes and place recyclables in recycle bin
- follow all company safety and security policies
- report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- complete safety training and certifications
- protect company assets
- communicate clearly and professionally
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- support team goals
- ensure adherence to quality expectations
- move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping motions
- perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
