Job Requirements
- Pass Department of Human Services background check
- Pass pre-employment drug screening including cannabis/THC
- Adhere to Willamette Family's six-month waiting period for former clients applying for employment
- Ability to work full-time hours
- Willingness to comply with all health and safety regulations
- Must be able to perform physical tasks related to dishwashing and kitchen maintenance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food service setting is an advantage
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable work habit and punctuality
- Commitment to supporting substance use treatment services
Job Duties
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure all kitchenware is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and counters
- Sort and organize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans for washing and storage
- Monitor dishwashing supplies and notify supervisors when stock is low
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth meal service operations
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist with other kitchen duties as needed to support food service efficiency
