Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Strong passion for food and people
  • Team player with good attitude and sense of urgency
  • Ability to read and follow written recipes, standards, and safety instructions
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to work in both hot and cool environments
  • Able to lift at least 20 pounds and frequently squat and bend
  • Self-accountable in upholding high standards
  • Able to work in fast-paced setting standing for up to 8 hours daily
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification or willingness to get certified

Job Duties

  • Ensuring cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
  • Following food safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitoring dish machine operation temperatures
  • Using correct detergents and sanitizers for cleaning
  • Abiding by material safety data sheets for chemical use
  • Maintaining safe and clean kitchen walkways
  • Assisting with kitchen prep work and food order rotation
