Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience helpful but not required
Ability to see minute objects at arm's length and read meters and controls
Ability to bend, squat, crouch, crawl, and reach overhead
Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and walk regularly during shift
Ability to handle china, glassware, and fragile equipment carefully
Capability to work in a mostly indoor environment with some exposure to freezer temperatures

Job Duties

Gather all dirty dishware from tubs and rinse and stack in dishracks clearing leftovers and trash
Load full dishracks on belt ensuring correct placement for machine operation
Operate automatic dishwashing machine using controls as instructed
Load dishwashing solutions into dispensers and regulate output of detergents and chemicals
Unload clean dishes from racks, inspect for cleanliness and stack in specified areas
Manually scrub pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using detergents and scourers
Manually polish silver, stainless steel, and pewter serviceware
Maintain dishwashing equipment according to manufacturer instructions
Keep dish room clean and orderly by sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and wiping surfaces
Mop kitchen floors and clean kitchen work surfaces regularly
Gather and empty kitchen trash cans into outside compactor
Sweep loading dock and kitchen entrance areas removing litter and debris
Perform other duties as assigned by management
