Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift at least 20 pounds
Prior experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to work flexible schedules including part-time or full-time shifts

Job Qualifications

Minimum 1 year working experience
Previous employment as a dishwasher, bus person, or kitchen steward
Strong problem solving and time management skills
Punctual, dedicated and reliable
Ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 20 lbs
Willingness to comply with food safety procedures

Job Duties

Ensure the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans and flatware
Prepare dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations
Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen such as coffee makers, pots, pans, and mixers
Sweep and mop floors as needed
Remove soiled plates and flatware from tables and reset tables
Empty and clean trash receptacles
Assist with other kitchen duties as needed
