Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, preferred
  • Solid customer service skills and abilities
  • Team player that possesses a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays and alternative work weeks
  • Ability to handle difficult situations and adapt quickly to resolve problems
  • Dedicated to teamwork and open communication
  • Lift and carry for a short distance up to 10 pounds regularly and 50 pounds rarely
  • Part time availability

Job Duties

  • Collect and clean all dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans and related food use items
  • Safely operate dishwasher and check items for cleanliness, load appropriate soap levels and time cycles
  • Store cleaned, dried items in proper places
  • Transport items between dining room and dish room
  • Remove garbage from area and dispose of in proper waste containers, and operate garbage disposal unit
  • Clean floor of any spillage of water, detergent and/or foodstuffs per safety and sanitation guidelines for all food and chemical handling
  • Wash worktables, walls, floors, and department equipment
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas and restock supplies when needed
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to customers, vendors, peers, and managers
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Chef
