Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ability to stand for long periods
- capable of lifting heavy items
- flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
- must pass background check
- legal right to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous dishwashing or kitchen cleaning experience a plus
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
- good communication skills
- ability to follow instructions
- team-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or machine
- washes pots, pans and trays ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- polishes silver using burnishing machine or hand methods
- ensures compliance with safety procedures
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels
- keeps dish area orderly and safe
- sweeps and mops floors to meet sanitation standards
- washes worktables, walls and food prep surfaces
- removes trash and cleans garbage containers
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- helps load and unload supplies
- performs other assigned duties
