Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in dishroom or similar cleaning role beneficial but not required
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
capability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs occasionally and 30 lbs frequently
willingness to follow strict sanitary and safety procedures, including chemical handling
flexible availability to work various shifts as needed
compliance with dress code and personal hygiene standards
ability to communicate clearly with management and team members
willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning techniques and schedules

Job Duties

Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures
clean and maintain certain equipment and areas as designated by management
keep dish room clean at all times
keep sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods
clean dish machine after every meal
sweep and mop dish room floor at the end of each day, and empty mop bucket
de-lime the dish machine once a week
scrub and soak all stained cups weekly
exercise extreme precaution and carefully follow instructions and procedures when using chemicals
follow cleaning schedule as provided by management, using 'clean as you go' techniques
maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed
follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene
follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards
use Smile Plus hospitality imperatives
assist fellow associates at every opportunity
perform any other duties as assigned by management
