Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience helpful but not required
- Ability to stand and walk for 100% of the time
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to frequently lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to follow strict sanitary and safety procedures
- Ability to maintain personal hygiene and adhere to dress code
Job Qualifications
- Able to perform each essential function satisfactorily
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures when using chemicals
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills for reporting product and supply needs
- Willingness to assist team members and work collaboratively
Job Duties
- Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures
- Clean and maintain certain equipment and areas as designated by management
- Keep dish room clean at all times
- Keep sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods
- Clean dish machine after every meal
- Sweep and mop dish room floor at the end of each day, and empty mop bucket
- De-lime the dish machine once a week
