Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in kitchen or dishwashing preferred but not required
  • ability to work 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm shifts including some weekends
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
  • ability to lift and move heavy kitchen equipment and supplies

Job Qualifications

  • Previous high volume kitchen experience preferred
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow safety procedures
  • good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail
  • good teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
  • washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
  • polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
  • ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
  • maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
  • keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
  • sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
