Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen sanitation preferred

Job Duties

  • Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machines to ensure cleanliness and sanitation
  • washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures maintaining hygiene standards
  • polishes silverware using designated equipment and methods to ensure cleanliness
  • complies with safety procedures consistently
  • maintains chemical and temperature levels as per standard requirements
  • keeps dishwashing area orderly and compliant with safety standards
  • sweeps and mops kitchen floors maintaining safety and sanitation
  • cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and food prep surfaces
  • removes trash and cleans garbage containers thoroughly
  • transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • assists in loading and unloading supplies and products
  • performs other duties as assigned
