Job Requirements

  • prior experience in dishwashing or similar role preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
  • physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods

  • willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • scrape dishes to remove food residue
  • rinse dishes and utensils before loading into dish machine
  • wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
  • place clean dishes and utensils in designated storage areas
  • sort and remove trash into designated pickup areas
  • sweep or mop kitchen floors
  • maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
  • clean garbage cans with water and soap
  • stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, or refrigerators
  • transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas
  • clean and break down dish machine at the end of the night
  • perform additional cleaning duties as requested
  • maintain a positive and professional approach to coworkers and customers
